Leadership in the superhero space shifted again as Batman was reinvented and a landmark sequel was delivered in the form of The Dark Knight. Now, it’s clear Marvel is the player to beat, with The Avengers currently standing as the third highest grossing film of all-time. In addition, Disney endowed each member of its team with explosive potential and brought great value to its expanse. Will the impressive draw of The Winter Soldier dampen the performance of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Days of Future Past?
